Frame Collections

We feature a wide range of frames, including several exclusive designer lines . L.a. Eyeworks offers a fun and funky blend of color and style. Their slogan is "A face is like a fine piece of artwork; It deserves a good frame." We think their collection offers just that!! With sculpted elements and hand applied finishes, the result is, in the words of the designers, "complex simplicity." For a sophisticated look, the Silhouette Swarovski Designer frames are unsurpassed.  This small but elegant collection of frames includes styles for daywear and sunwear.  The hand painted frames from Ronit Furst reflect the creativity of their designer with a range of colors and patterns to delight the eye.  And, classic but colorful kate spade frames are versatile and stylish.   Flair and Yabi styles round out the designer collections.   

And for men, the John Varvatos Eyewear Collection offers fine detail incorporated with clean aerodynamic lines and fashion-forward shapes. The designer behind this line of eyewear, John Varvatos, is the 2001 and 2005 CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year. Fine craftsmanship and styling are the hallmarks of the Porsche Design Collection, which includes both daywear and sunwear options for men.   Cutting edge designs from Oxibis are presented in lightweight materials and contemporary colors resulting in a signature look unlike other frames.

Men and women alike appreciate the sophisticated design philosophy and attention to detail evident in the Kazuo Kawasaki eyewear collection. In addition our optical boutique carries the classic frame lines from Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Flexon as well the contemporary designer collections from Giorgio Armani and Silhouette. There are plenty of rimless styles from the collections of Silhouette, Flair, Italee's 2.5 Eyephorics, and Kawasaki.   

Eyewear for Sun and Sports

Sun protection is essential to our eyes. And what better way to make sure you have the best in crisp, comfortable vision while protecting your eyes from harmful UV light, than the extensive selection of Maui Jim sunwear. Maui Jim features lenses which, in our opinion, are the finest quality sun lenses in the optical industry with polarized lenses, anti-reflective coating and mirror gradient coatings. The new Maui Jim Evolution lens, available in selected styles, is now available in our office. Maui Jim sunwear is available with prescription or non-prescription lenses. Prescription lenses are available in single vision and progressive designs to suit situations from driving to sports to reading on the beach. Designer sunwear from Gucci, kate spade, S.A.L.T. , Porsche Design, Varvatos, Calvin Klein and others is also available in our optical boutique. And for those of you who spend your time out of doors engaged in cycling, swimming, boating, skiing, golf, or other active adventures, be sure to ask our optical staff about the Rudy Project. Lens Technology

     Our optical boutique truly excels in both our doctors' and optician's knowledge of lens materials and designs. Our office offers a complete line of lenses from Essilor including progressive lenses such as the exclusive TruClear and TruClear HighDefinition lenses. We also offer the Varilux Physio, Varilux Physio360 and the Definity. We proudly offer the Shamir progressive lenses including the Genesis and the Office , which is ideally suited for those who work long days at the computer. Next Generation Transitions is now available in most lens materials and designs offering a lens which goes from virtually clear to nearly as dark as a sunglass lens. New and improved anti-reflective treatments increase the transmission of light through the lens and thus improve the clarity of your vision through your glasses while decreasing glare and the appearance of glare. Viso, VisoXC and Crizal Alize anti-reflective treatments are available on most of our lenses.

    Prescription and non-prescription swim goggles are also available. Our aqua sphere goggles are comfortable and virtually leak free. Some styles come in clear, tinted, mirrored or photochromic (darkens in bright light). They are perfect for any water sport activity - indoors or out. Come in and try them.
